The vast majority of work places don’t understand, much less offer anything other than taking unpaid leave which leaves women forced to chose between working in horrendous pain, or being left financially unstable.
I was at work vomiting and sobbing in the bathroom last week, and left practically limping during an endometriosis flare up. I cannot afford to take sick leave, as it would be unpaid, and I am forced to work in debilitating conditions where pain & other management doesn’t work.
Should women get paid time off for their periods?
That's being debated in parliament this afternoon - as MPs discuss whether workers should have up to three days off each month for heavy and painful periods.
Do you back this?
@BooChilling@JeremyVineOn5 some women cannot manage their symptoms with heat or painkillers etc. endometriosis has women passing out, vomiting, and unable to walk from the severity of pain, and most work places simply do not understand.
like is a 19 year old defender out performing defenders who have over 100 international caps, how is a 17 year lb looking more comfortable that people 10 years older than her lmao

Some decent names floating about with big women's football links for the next #CFCW sporting director.
Club did well to appoint a bloke with no evident history in women's football
