Extremely lucky man!
Every year, thousands die due to potholes. He could have been one of them.
So instead of complaining about why I deserved this despite paying all the tax, cess, RTO, and tax on 80% petrol, he should be thankful that health insurance is now tax-free. Enjoy seamless treatment at private hospitals after begging insurance companies to at least pass 50% of what you incurred.
Also, don't waste your mental peace trying to sue the municipalities for compensation. You are not living in the West where you have real civic rights.
Year 2017, a neighbour in Ferozepur kept a maid.
Things were fine initially. A few months later, he started noticing things missing from his house one after another. So he installed a CCTV without telling the maid. She was caught stealing an All Out refill. He told her to take her month’s salary and leave.
He then reported the matter to the housing society so the woman could be blacklisted. That’s when the issue blew up. The woman complained to the police that she faced casteist slurs and physical violence. That’s when he discovered she was a Dalit, his family had no idea before. He showed the CCTV footage to police, tried to stand his ground, but ultimately had to compromise. The Atrocities Act was too much of a hassle for his mental peace. He paid ₹50,000 to settle and avoid an FIR.
This is caste weaponization, it’s mainstream now. Even when disputes with a Dalit person have nothing to do with caste, some people highlight only that angle to make things look worse than they are.
Take the CJI case. The shoe incident happened because the CJI made derogatory remarks, not because he is a Dalit. It would’ve happened even if he were upper caste. Yet the entire point being made is about his caste.
Or the Raebareli case: a man was lynched because villagers mistook him for a thief, not because he was a Dalit. Even some of the accused are Dalits themselves, yet the headlines read “Dalit man lynched”, as if upper-caste people killed him for his caste.
This constant weaponization only deepens old divide. With every false caste angle spun for outrage, the social fault lines grow wider, and the idea of true unity drifts even farther away.
Yesterday, 16th Aug, 2025 (Saturday), was celebrated as Bhagwan Sri Krishna #Janmashthami across India — except in the state of Kerala! The Malayalam calendar shows this year’s Janmashthami date as 14th Sept, 2025(Sunday), NOT yesterday.
Can anybody enlighten me as to why this is so? Surely even a Bhagwan can’t be born on two different days six weeks apart! Is there a case for rationalising the dates of religious holidays so that all adherents of a faith can celebrate with their fellow believers at the same time? After all, Keralites don’t observe a different Christmas!
@BlueDartCares I would like to know the reason for delay in shipment - 51621290560. The status is updated as ‘incomplete address, undelivered shipment held at location’. Did you call the recipient number provided on address details before updating this status???
48% tax on buying a car, and that’s after already paying 31.2% income tax. What is this, @FinMinIndia? Is there no limit to this daylight robbery? Your incompetence and inefficiency are dragging India backward. This is absolutely shameful!
@noidapolice@DCPCentralNoida@noidatraffic@Uppolice It’s been 24 hours and there is no feedback, update on this complaint. It means you are totally fine with such kind of rash driving which endangers public lives and safety on the road.
@noidapolice@DCPCentralNoida@noidatraffic Please take action against the car DL2CAY2409 for rash driving on 31.08.24 around 10:34 pm in direction from Noida sect-34 towards Sect-52 metro station - causing collision of my car with another car after which it fled from the scene.
@passportsevamea@rpoghaziabad I applied for Tatkal passport on 24.01.23(file no- GZ1077450165623). On tracking I see that it is pending police verification at nearest PS. What is the purpose of Tatkal scheme when PS verification is done before the Dispatch?
@passportsevamea Your website says that Disptach of TATKAL passport is done before the Police verification. My spouse & I applied at same time under Tatkal scheme. Her Passport has been delivered but mine is showing ‘pending police verification’? How is Tatkal scheme different than normal scheme?
@rpoghaziabad@passportsevamea@MEAIndia Sorry! My question was different. For Tatkal passport why the ‘Passport Dispatch’ is pending for police verification??? As per the https://t.co/ztam2TOxIv Dispatch is done first and then police verification is done. Please refer to below screenshot.
