RFMs could make breathing support at birth safer for many babies. So why aren't they everywhere? 🍼
The comfortable answer is 'not enough evidence'. The more honest one: a system that quietly taxes anyone trying to improve the device, a market judged too small to bother with, and a neat deadlock - guidelines wait for evidence and the money for the evidence waits for the guidelines.
None of this is a law of physics. It's a set of choices - and choices can be remade. That matters most here, because the babies who would gain the most are the ones with the least room for us to get it wrong.
Good ideas rarely fail for being wrong. They fail for being inconvenient.

Well done Team @NeoTRIPs1 for achieving a high response rate!
With ⬆️ use of probiotics in the UK, we know there is great interest to evaluate the impact on outcomes using national routine data. We promise there is ongoing work looking at this!

Over 40% of UK neonatal units are routinely administering probiotics, with variability in the product used.
There is a need to establish whether this translates to improved clinical outcomes. https://t.co/PmW6Q7Cuce
@GeekStoredotcom @GeekStoredotcom Where is my order #115728? It was placed on the 30 Nov so has been 9 days and still no shipping notification? Your company does not respond to emails!
@_ALSG_ Are GIC courses in September likely to be cancelled if there is a rise in COVID cases in the next month, or are there contingencies in place for this? I saw there are new socially-distanced GIC courses being piloted but not sure if they are being employed nationally?
@Earl_GreyT@AirbnbHelp Apologies, I thought you meant change password of AirBnb account. Email account details have all been changed and secured whilst I wait for the AirBnb account to get shut down.
