@nz_voter @serenity22@ruralmaori The last thing we want is any doctors that are looking at the region to reconsider based on false information. The facility is great, the staff are top notch (and over worked) and they are certainly not closed to equity involvement discussions. It's a great option
@nz_voter @serenity22@ruralmaori I'm actively trying not to be a dick, but you have a lot of followers and have also been approached by a reporter so I think is important to make sure the facts are cleared up before this becomes more Greytown gossip and Chinese whispers.
@nz_voter @serenity22@ruralmaori Like most medical practices in the country right now staffing is difficult, however they always offer a nurse triage if it is urgent and can book urgent appointments as required. If it's not urgent then this is really moot. I'm actively trying to correct misinformation.
@nz_voter @serenity22@ruralmaori No that company definitely does not own Greytown Medical. I can't talk to the paper reporting over a year ago, but it's incorrect either way.
@nz_voter @serenity22@ruralmaori Hi Jeremy, it pays to check. The GP on the website still works at the practice and has not retired. Of the entire thread you have posted I can't see anything factually correct. All the info is publicly available should you care to check before posting.
@nz_voter @serenity22@ruralmaori There is a lot of incorrect information being spread here. Ther is certainly no multi-nationals involved. There is still a GP on staff and multiple Nurse Practitioners who can do most/all the same things the GPs can do for patients and are extremely friendly and helpful.
@farmgeek The question now is of those deaths how many died of covid vs with covid. They only changed the reporting back last week to only reporting deaths that are directly attributed to COVID so the stats to date are very skewed.
