If your Republican Congress would actually just do what they were being paid to do, it would be a law and much harder for the Supreme Court to go against.

@oneillaw @SpeakerJohnson America doesn't work that way. We are not ruled by direct democracy, it's a republic. What that means is the people can have their will, but only within the confines of the law and the Constitution. Meaning, if something is unconstitutional, the people can't have it.
