@BBCWSSport @AlisonMitchell @Charuonsports @jimmaxcricket @NPTcricket Powerful piece @BBCWSSport. Am passionate about cricket's potential to reach across divides, create opportunity & light people within. This episode captured that capacity so well - & pleased also to note church & cricket chiming! Good job @AlisonMitchell on emotive issues.

[BBC World Service Sport @BBCWSSport]

On #BBCStumped, @AlisonMitchell, @Charuonsports & @jimmaxcricket discuss the latest situation for cricket in Afghanistan.

And we hear from @NPTcricket, who have used cricket to help welcome Afghan refugees to the UK.

Great win for the seconds at home to Thurleigh. The 1st's make their familiar start to the season. #painful #alwayswearabox

[Newport Pagnell CC @NPTcricket]

@ThurleighCC Good game but the home side came out on top defending 167 after the visitors had made a promising start.
