@DrShayPhD The reason this does not work is that the way it actually plays out is that each person's individual interpretation of Scripture becomes the final say.

Baptists, do you stand by this statement: if a person is not able to audibly or through sign language profess their faith in Christ, they should not be baptized. Is baptism really hindered by an inability to communicate? Prove that from Scripture!
I’m seriously considering getting off of X. Not for political reasons. I just don’t see any substantive benefit that I’m getting from being on here. Mostly I got on here to get news from alternative sources, but there are other ways to do that.
@IndianaBrunner So when LGBT activists use Scripture to argue that Jesus never condemned homosexuality, are they using “scripture alone” too? And what do you even mean by “scripture alone?”
