We’re official!
🎉💪 Thrilled to share that after a majority of eligible employees showed support for a union, NRDC has recognized our formation! We believe that our collective power will help make progress toward true equity, dignity, and belonging.
While @audubonsociety CEO @DrElizabethGray is at #COP28, management has informed us that they will be giving annual raises this year to everyone EXCEPT for Bird Union employees.
It's the season of charity, but today our members are going to holiday parties knowing that @Defenders Management has deprived them of access to annual raises and improved benefits - solely based on their union membership. Help us by sharing this message far and wide today.
Our 24-hour strike has begun.
For the first time in 50 years, @washingtonpost workers are walking off the job because our company is refusing to bargain in good faith and breaking the law.
Workers @washingtonpost are walking off the job for 24 hours on Dec. 7th.
✊Show solidarity by signing the letter to the Publisher: https://t.co/l46nFFU09k
✊Respect the picket line by avoiding Post journalism during the walkout
We look forward to collaborating with NRDC leaders to create more productive, healthy working environments and advance the fight to protect the planet and its people.

We’re proud to be represented by the formidable Washington-Baltimore News Guild (@WBNG32035) and joins the ranks of other green groups and nonprofits— like Friends of the Earth and LCV—that have unionized recently. People power is unstoppable!
Hi! We have exciting news to share. A supermajority of eligible workers at WildEarth Guardians has formed a union.
Introducing… WildEarth Workers #AForceForLabor
Solidarity with the good folks at @nrdcunion! The right thing to do is for the bosses to voluntarily recognize the union and begin bargaining in good faith.
A strong CLDC workplace means strong movements. By unionizing, we will be better prepared to weather hardship and build new paths to liberation together. CLEU is committed to ensuring CLDC is around, successful and nimble as long as the struggle requires.
It’s official: on behalf of a majority of eligible members, we sent a letter to NRDC President & CEO Manish Bapna asking to be voluntarily recognized.
