Check out the podcast I recorded yesterday in front of a live studio audience courtesy of @WoodMackenzie's @TheEnergyGang, talking about demand growth, gas supply & and the possibility that the U.S. Gov't takes steps to restrain further power generation from retirement-->
@TKavulla I’m sure this will be a great discussion- do you record these for later viewing for those that can’t attend in person. Given CEJA (Climate and Equitable Jobs Act) from IL, the discussion is super relevant and timely. Thanks for hosting this.
.@allisonwannop has a great op-ed contemplating the emergence of value-added products in the retail energy space and the need to "iterate rather than quit" the project of allowing consumer choice in this industry:

Words can’t do justice for how deeply appreciative I am to @USTreasury@SecYellen for presiding over my swearing-in and honoring our family by administering the oath.
I’m also profoundly appreciative to @POTUS@JoeBiden for nominating me to this role, for having faith and confidence in me to lead our shareholding and delegation at the @WorldBank, and for offering me the opportunity to serve at such a critical time for our Nation and the world.
Thankful to all my dear family and friends that were able to physically join us to mark this special moment, and tremendously appreciative to my late mother Martha Serra Mohr, who was reunited with our Creator 8 years ago that day.
It was incredibly bittersweet and serendipitous that the ceremony fell on her anniversary - and even more so because I was also called before the Senate exactly one year ago to testify for my confirmation hearing.
While she might not have been there physically, she was no doubt there with us spiritually and I know that she has played an integral part in all the events leading up to this very moment.
As a first-generation American whose family suffered at the hands and fled authoritarianism 90 miles off our shores, I feel the weight of the privilege and the responsibility to represent this great Nation, and the beacon of hope that it is, every day that I step into the World’s Bank and raise my voice - or cast my vote - in its board room.
I cannot stress enough my heartfelt appreciation to all my family, dear friends and colleagues who there in-person and spirit, and once again pledge to honor the legacy, sacrifice and struggle of all those who came before me - and all those that make up the incredibly diverse and rich tapestry of what it means to be an American, and to uphold and advance our values and interests here and abroad.
Starting tomorrow: our company @DirectEnergy is the new supplier to the City of Boston's municipal aggregation, one of the largest in the country!

@GlobeScotLehigh@BostonGlobe A very fair, reasonable and important articulation for why the Commonwealth should "fix, and not nix" the opportunity for consumers to have a choice when buying electricity. Here's a link to data driven research and welcome any discussion on this https://t.co/gSGFwCun6B
I theorized as follows today at @RockyMtnInst's excellent #VPP convening, where I think the two very different paradigms of value in the market are "Programs vs Prices"
You are the company you keep - and this is GREAT company! Grateful for the support of our #chamberofcommerce leader board members ahead of our incredible 2023 @USHCC National Conference! #USHCCOrlando23
As my a/c finally gets a break, I did a quick check-in on my utility bill.
I saved 30% -- or $138.68 -- in the past 4 months on electricity supply charges by selecting a third party provider, rather than being stuck on utility "Standard Offer Service". #Maryland
The @USHCC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) w Hispanics in Energy during our #2022EnergySummit. Special thanks to José Pérez & his leadership. The USHCC is committed to supporting Hispanic-owned businesses & connecting them to opportunities in the energy sector.
With the Infrastructure law, we're creating good jobs, laying new train tracks, repairing bridges, expanding transit systems, and so much more. I look forward to working with @USHCC to unlock the full potential of the Latino business community to help power this growth.
Hispanic-owned businesses are the heartbeat of our country & have been disproportionately impacted throughout the pandemic. Join us tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. ET as the @USHCC goes LIVE with @SherylSandberg COO, @Meta➡️ https://t.co/X230G12jMI #ThriveWithUs#SeasonofGreatIdeas
#PatriayVida wins a Latin Grammy for best urban song. Patria y Vida has become an anthem for Cubans protesting for their rights. The song is banned on the island. #Maykel "Osorbo" Castillo, one of the authors, is seriously ill in a maximum security prison in #Cuba.
