@TheEventsDC Why do you use the only northbound lane 9th Street as a place to line up at the convention center? I understand that you need to do this somewhere, but why not, say, southbound 7th Street which has two lanes? This is DANGEROUS!
@garrett_amini@BriannaWu You can buy an old X5 with a 6MT. That’s what I did when I needed a baby and puppy hauler.
Bonus: It’s a surprisingly decent backup tow machine. And you probably wouldn’t mind having an AWD vehicle available occasionally. (Yes, I was in fact towing inside the legal rating.)
@allanfriedman Disagree. I can demand that demos show me relevant capabilities, ideally ones that I have direct comps for. I have zero attention span for pitch decks.
@DavidNir@junecloud I’m using Parcel, which is… Tolerable. Barely. I miss Deliveries.
For more esoteric delivery services (China, mostly), I’ve had good luck with 17Track. But it is not a refined experience.
@BriannaWu @KellenCraig_ I’m waiting for a self driving EV. If I’m going to be a bored passenger, I want to be able to look at my phone.
Until then, we’ll stick with our fleet of old BMWs and a Porsche.
@Miss_AmandaG@PoPville I heard it. My dog kept begging for food, so definitely gunshots. (He’ll run for the basement if it’s thunder or fireworks. He’s 100% reliable that way.)
@neilcybart The short answer is that most third party client users were accustomed to being able to see tweets in a linear and consistent way with useful place holding. The Twitter 1st party client doesn’t do that.
Am I switching? No. But am I missing a much of what I used to see? Yes.
