Deeply mourn the death of Jaipal Reddy Ji. He was the Urban Development Minister during the best of the early part of the building of Namma Metro. He took keen interest in Namma Metro progress. He was an inspirational Minister. RIP Sir. But We will miss you immensely.

Suggest that Railways PRIORITISE FREIGHT as a matter of policy. Freight needs to reflect market competition so that modal shift takes place in favour of RailFreight. This will provide more revenues too for increased amenities for passenger travel. Let’s make a beginning!

Would be interested in it from the point of view of intra-city logistics. First-mile and Last-mile Logistics costs inefficiencies add substantial costs. They need to be addressed by systemic planning urgently. Density maps in the transport domain may help.

Density maps of different kinds of infra in the city - here's one for health facilities. A full stack across different domains (health, transport, tourism, safety, etc) should be ready this week for BLR. Being script-driven on map data, we can repeat the exercise for every city.
