Gordon projects as a multi-dimensional point guard whose value is rooted in EYBL-calibrated production, competitive motor, and guard-level processing that impacts multiple phases of the game simultaneously. The defining signal is not simply a high-scoring performance—it is a verified 23-point, 11-rebound, 6-assist EYBL stat line that reflects creation, facilitation, and possession control within a national-level evaluation environment.

At Centralia High School, Gordon operates within a smaller Class 3 context, but the Nike EYBL platform through Missouri Phenom significantly recalibrates the evaluation. Production at that level comes against athletes and guards who project into Division I basketball, making the statistical profile materially more meaningful than isolated small-school scoring volume.

Offensively, Gordon creates through tempo, transition play, and sequential decision-making. The six assists are particularly important because playmaking at the EYBL level requires advanced processing against organized defenses and athletic help rotations. Defensively, the 11-rebound performance from the point guard position reinforces a high-motor identity built on anticipation, competitiveness, and physical activity.

The primary swing factor is long-term consistency. If the multi-phase production profile proves repeatable across extended EYBL competition, her ceiling rises beyond a traditional mid-major projection. If the sample stabilizes closer to rotational production, the current valuation remains accurate.

Taking the April Eval period with an experienced grain of salt, but I’m going to encourage these clubs to develop some sort of system for which players can start displaying better decision making. TEAMS develop a common language and some operational standards - and it helps everyone be better. They need the accountability and foundation. Teach them! And players - don’t run away from the coaches who challenge you in this way, please.

But - this I’ll stand on: the free-for-all is not benefitting anyone. And “pressing” does not qualify as a system.

However, Centralia and Highland Games should have both been played in Columbia in the Final Four. It’s pretty obvious when you see the score of the last 2 games

C3 #2 Lady Panthers (22-3) go on the road and get a BIG WIN over C2 #1 Tipton 58-55. Lady Panthers closed out the game on a 12 to 4 run. Great TEAM win! This marks the 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th win for Coach Brinkmann and the Lady Panthers Class of ‘26.
