Definitely you can find cheaper accommodations in Siargao. You can stay at a really decent homestay for 2.5k-3.5k but there’s no breakfast included or other amenities.

Hi! I found Thailand cheaper to go to than Siargao. And Siargao is just a fastcraft away for me. A room at Movenpick in Bangkok is 4k a night. Siargao Villas or Isla Cabana charges 10k a night. Siargao Bleu at 7k, Yama at 5k.

And let’s not talk about airfare and food.
