APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE ROAD ACCIDENT FUND
I am pleased to announce that Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Collins Letsoalo as the Chief Executive Officer of the Road Accident Fund (RAF).

I welcome the judgement as a step in the right direction in our efforts to ensure that those who fall victim to accidents on our roads continue to benefit.
Tomorrow on Spaces, we will have the Road Accident Fund (RAF) CEO, Mr Collins Letsoalo.
The Minister and CEO will be engaging with the public on pertinent issues related to RAF.

The contract, which was concluded outside of normal procurement processes in 2023, was extended last year for 24 months, again without inviting competitive bids, at a cost of R307m. Total payments to Alteram currently stand at R297m.
