Surplus Intelligence's design solves another big pain point -

Lots of vendors use a model where you pre-pay for inference. But there's there's two things that make it a horriable deal for you if you use less than you paid for -

1. You can't withdraw
2. The unused inference that you bought can expire

So say you pay $100 for 100 credits, but you only use 50 credits. The vender usually won't let you convert back to the remaining $50 and withdraw. And they'll expire your credits, practically stealing your remaining $50 worth of credits.

@mykcryptodev noticed this early. On Surplus, you fund an account but the money stays yours. You pay for each individual message as you use it. And when you don't use your money, you can easily withdraw it.

Those features are simple (and expected!) for crypto users. It would be nice to keep those features as we integrate in fiat support. And Myk laid out a way to do this pretty simply.

The site already "supports fiat" in the sense that it displays onramps when a user tries to approve more than they have. But it's still not as flexible as "onrampping" to like credits on OpenRouter.

And it doesn't yet support the nice property non-crypto users might want of "withdrawing" from their money on Surplus to their fiat bank account. This might be interesting to add in.

It's actually super cool, a way to gamify my content creation game (cause I am a dopamine junkie)

Will share more updates soon (it's going through some upgrades atm) but the tldr is every day I get certain quests (write a quality post, connect with new accounts, reply to comments under my posts, etc) and get XP/gold for completing them

It automatically tracks my engagement metrics too

We're working on a content ideation system to be built into it to give me some ideas each day, as well as being a place to track my own ideas

I think one of the things that I always struggled with when using things like notion or obsidian or what not is the fact that they weren't *fun* sooooo with a little vibe coding magic and ai agent magic, we're making it more fun

The unfortunate reality is that with the X algo these days, if you actually want to reach people and get views, you need to know how to play the game and consistency is a huge part of that -- regular posting, better quality, etc

I miss the days of just yolo tweeting 25x a day and the algo showing my tweets to my followers but that hasn't been the case for a long time, and I want to rebuild a bit of the audience and following I had and re-connect with a lot of my followers, so hopefully this is a nice step in that direction!

$VVV had one of the worst launches I’ve seen. It took a while to recover from the rough @AerodromeFi launch dynamics, but they eventually did, and now $VVV is at 20$ and breaking past previous ATHs.

I see $AORA as a similar situation, bad launch, but strong fundamentals/project and TAM. It also looks like the AERO voter whales are finally running out of free tokens to dump.

I’m still down on my position, but I remain extremely bullish on $AORA and the fundamentals haven’t changed.

I still think $AORA does very well long term, and honestly believe it would be trading much higher today if it weren’t for the Ignition launch mechanics, which is exactly why I bought and continue to hold.

An update on @yoshizenco:

I know things have been quiet lately, it's been a combination of some IRL life stuff, some AI overwhelm/fatigue, and some lacklustre performance for our prediction model.

I've been brainstorming and working on a v2 of Yoshi and would love to discuss it with some of the holders, so I am setting up a chat for anyone that wants to discuss and be a part of it with me.

For now it'll just live on X as the easiest way to add people (and will be for anyone that wants to join) but will explore or consider moving it elsewhere + properly token gating for the largest holders in the future.
