Today, information is everywhere. A search away. A scroll away. And perhaps that's the trap - when knowledge feels effortless to access, we forget that seeking it was never meant to be effortless. The Salaf crossed deserts for a single narration.
Judging Mu'awiya (RA) is not as easy as many people make it seem.
Imagine you're the Governor of Punjab.
Your beloved cousin is the Prime Minister of Pakistan. You travel to Islamabad for an annual meeting while a protest is taking place at D-Chowk. You offer to send the Punjab Police to help maintain order, but your cousin tells you not to worry and insists that no blood should be spilled in the capital.
You return to Lahore.
A few days later, you learn that the protesters have killed your cousin. Then the person who benefits most from his death, becoming the new Prime Minister with the support of those same rebels, tells you to calm down and be patient.
You demand justice, but you get no clear answer. Worse, many of the very people involved in the unrest are now part of the new government's ranks.
I don't know about you, but in that situation, I'd be furious and want to burn everything down to kill every single person responsible.
With the benefit of hindsight, it's easy to pass judgment. Living through those events, with incomplete information and overwhelming emotions, is a very different matter.
Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanawi regarding sectarianism and bad mouthing others:
Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanawi said, “In Kanpur, a person started to insult the innovators. I started to defend them with [alternative] interpretations, which led him to think that I am a bid’atī (innovator). Then he started bad mouthing the non-muqallids. I started to defend them with [alternative] interpretations. He asked surprisingly that after all what is your position? I said: My position is these verses of the Qur’ān: ‘Be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves’ [4:135] and ‘Do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just, that is nearer to righteousness’ [5:8].”
[Majālis Ḥakīm al-Ummat, p.284]
Imam Aḥmad Sirhindī رحمه الله advises young Muslims:
“Consider your youth as war booty (spoils of war); do not waste it in distractions and frivolities, and do not exchange it for nuts or raisins, as children do. Otherwise, on the Day of Judgment, nothing will remain for you except regret and remorse, and that will be of no use to you. Take your precautions right now, before it is too late.”

The 12ver narrative claims Omar RA broke the ribs of Fatima RA and Ali RA just watched on.
Would you tolerate this happening to your wife and watch on?
If you can’t, how could Ali RA possibly just watch on?
Someone attacks the daughter of Rasul Allah, Ali just stands around?

Delivered by C‑section from her dead mother's body. 23 years old. 'israel' bombed and killed her. Buried them under rubble. The baby girl was named after her. Doctors gave her a 50/50 chance of survival. She died 5 days later and was buried next to her mum.

The words جلوس and جسم shouldn't be attributed to Allah. The إطلاق of these specific words are not revealed through scripture. It is a blameworthy innovation.
Aqeeda Tahawi became widespread amongst Hanafis after Abu al-Mu'in mentioned it his Tabsirat al-Adilla under the topic of Takween
It was always passed and explained by hanafi ulema since, until it reached Subki and his contemporaries.
Then it becomes a staple of Ahle Sunnah.

Al-Musāyarah of ʿAllāmah Ibn Humām
Throughout this programme, the tamhīdāt are treated as essential. At every point where logic or philosophy is required, those concepts are explained fresh before the text is approached; not assumed, not rushed through. Every line is translated in full, so that students without Arabic are not left at the surface.
The result is a thorough resource for students of knowledge to study kalām as it should be taught, within the Khairābādī structure of muṭālaʿah, taqrīr, and takrār.
What students consistently report is a growth in malakah across the programme, a gradual development of the capacity to engage these texts with independence and precision. That is the measure of whether a method is working.

If you have a habit of placing non muslim academics over muslim scholars then truth be told you are already on the verge of leaving the religion if you haven’t already.
