We are told Putin is the maximalist imperialist, but he has again and again offered compromise positions.
We are told that’s unacceptable because it means Russia could attack later. But it seems totally insane to not stop war now, because there could be war later.
That’s like saying “don’t give me medicine now, I could get sick later.”
We are being asked to believe two different things about the Russian side that contradict each other:
1) we cannot make a deal with them because they want the whole thing. They will keep coming back like night of the living dead.
2) Ukraine is really not a core interest to Russia. If we bomb enough Wildberry warehouses and kill enough Russians they’ll just give up and go home.
The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. https://t.co/8AyV60gg1X
This person is associated with Turning Point USA and is endorsing Bo French. And people still have the audacity to tell me that racism is confined to an irrelevant fringe of the Republican Party. How much more mainstream does it get than Turning Point USA?
A rather sensational @stranaua interview with fugitive Ukranian oligarch Vadym Novynsky, Akhmetov’s partner in Metinvest.
Novynsky claims it was him who organised Homel/Istanbul talks by liaising with Russian envoy Dmitry Kozak on Zelensky’s request. Zelensky later accused Novynsky of trying to coerce him into capitulation.
Novynsky claims Russia had three key demands to which Zelensky initially agreed, but later chose to walk out.
These included:
- removing the clause on NATO membership from the Ukrainian constitution
- special status for Crimea without Ukraine recognising it as a part of Russia for 30 years
- special status for the occupied part of Donbas (a third as opposed to 90% today) under Ukraine’s nominal sovereignty

@afatswedishcat@TomadanB@jamespthomas92@captgouda24 I think most Republican senators hated Trump after Jan 6, but only a few stuck to their (very limited) principles and voted to convict him.
If not then, nothing will happen now. That ship has sailed.
