@leo_rakipi@LobsterInSummer@yumihisuslove@beyoncegarden Steal from God's principles? Those principles existed before Judaism.
We can use them, and they have value, they have been derived from the law of reciprocation, but they are not owned by any deity.
The SSRI comment shows you want fixed order, human xp is not such.
@whatasillyyfox@MartinButtkiss@beyoncegarden Actually, I may have misread, however the message above highlights this flaw in logic further.
At that point I am not sure what the point was, other than to say there are circumstantial cases of that happening.
@whatasillyyfox can you share?
@whatasillyyfox@MartinButtkiss@beyoncegarden so by your own logic, they are not human, so abortion is not murder?
nowhere did i disagree with this.
this contrasts from your original point.
@_OG_Zcythe@UK_murph@beyoncegarden That may be dogmatically true, however, it is stated sufferings such as childbirth are a direct result of Eve's actions. There are other aspects of pain introduced post banishment too, not all of which are self inflicted.
How can you be aware of the problem of evil and still type this?
If God is all good, he cannot be all knowing.
If God is all knowing he cannot be all good.
How do you circumvent this?
@leo_rakipi@LobsterInSummer@yumihisuslove@beyoncegarden Are you saying God is a hypocrite, because he creates rules we are to follow, but not him?
As a thought experiment, if God manifested physically and aborted every fetus with a knife, would you say, due to his overarching moral authority, he would be divinely justified?
@whatasillyyfox@MartinButtkiss@beyoncegarden He referred to menstruation, not a miscarriage.
Furthermore, you are using the term children, which is a legal term, to describe the termination of a pregnancy, where legally speaking the fetus is not recognized as a child. So the death statistic of abortion vs cancer is wrong.
@timazigler@JaydenCade318@maximumpain333 If you read those prophecies you realize the Messiah was to be a soldier, Jesus was the antithesis of many aspects of the Jewish Messiah.
Justifying him as a Messiah because he became a priamry religious figure to you, is just that.
@JaydenCade318@timazigler@maximumpain333 I will point out an irony.
How you view their interpretation of the literature is how Jews view you as a Christian.
Simply put, a bastardized version of the truth they have come to hold.
