11/19 - Walk-on Cole Freeman gets his first start at QB, chosen over scholarship QB Carl Richardson.
11/26 - Freeman gets second start, Freshman Jack Lausch gets playing time, & WR Malik Washington throws a pass. Richardson gets no playing time.
11/30 - anonymous complaint 🤔🤔

The only thing Northwestern is guilty of is having a president with no backbone
* Independent investigator cleared Fitzgerald of wrongdoing
* Fitzgerald suspended two weeks
* Nothing changes, except public pressure
* Fitzgerald fired 72 hours later
Fitzgerald simply a fall guy

@JorgeGuapo22@insidenu@NUFBFamily@ClayTravis@FootballScoop@TPortalCFB@WildcatReport I’m not sure if you are new to sports or life but in the vast majority of teams, clubs, and jobs there is some form of ritualized new member onboarding
In this case, Northwestern’s alleged traditions were vastly exaggerated and fabricated. To end Fitz’s career as a result.. sad.
Hearing from friends that I know well in football, and just as I thought it’s sounding more like @coachfitz51 may have been targeted and the Administration to this point won’t allow transparency for any of us to really get the necessary information. Lawsuits will likely be what it takes to get to the bottom of it all!
@WytChocTweets@FFSyouwanker@OldTakesExposed The details of the “hazings” are unfounded and have been refuted by the entire active team and many many alumni.
Hazing of some sort happens on every college football team. It has become abundantly clear that a disgruntled player fabricated the “details” to get Fitz fired.
There will never be another Pat Fitzgerald. Irreplaceable.
And how they have disrespected his entire legacy after slanderous lies from keyboard warriors. Unforgivable.

@Trexdubya@FFSyouwanker@OldTakesExposed It’s not easy to take a stand for what’s right — it typically isn’t.
It’s easy to follow the flock and cancel the person of the moment regardless of the credibility of the allegations against them.
But no, I don’t think I’ll sit this one out. Thanks though.
@CoolMofo21 @FFSyouwanker@OldTakesExposed Um no, I just don’t believe every word that I read. Frankly, it’s a good skill to have.
I’m not sure what “didn’t k me about” means, but I can assure you that Fitz cared deeply about every man on that team and did everything in his power to help those men succeed.
@CoolMofo21 @FFSyouwanker@OldTakesExposed Interesting.. if I’m a sick fuck for believing a 3rd party investigation what does that make you for believing baseless unfounded allegations?
@politicsJunkE I believe hazing occurs on >90% of college football teams.
And that if the investigation concluded that Fitz knew nothing about it, than there is nothing for him to be punished for.
(Spoiler alert: that’s exactly what the investigation concluded)
Yeah they fired him because clowns like you read fabricated allegations and screamed until they had no choice but to oust him.
What a society we live in. The one guy who was in every player’s corner is now gone. And all without a shred of evidence.

@FFSyouwanker@OldTakesExposed Tell me what Pat Fitzgerald did to deserve to be fired.
The investigation concluded that he knew nothing of any sort of hazing.
There is no proof that the allegations made were true.
