If I understand correctly, the fix was there before the hacks; it's the other chains that were too slow implementing it.

Don't run Cosmos SDK modules produced by Cosmos Labs that @cosmoslabs_io does not also run on the cosmos hub.

They don't get audited, they don't get checked, they may very well be total shit.

If you run these modules, you run the risk of your chain being attacked because they release fixes in the clear wirhout privately informing chain teams so they have an opportunity to patch, with absolutely no regard for the safety of the chains in the ecosystem.

That's how bad Cosmos is at this point. They literally do not care if your chain gets knocked over. If they did care, they would provide an announcement as is standard security practice.

Many have wondered what drove my decision to GTFO cosmos, and the decisions of many others to GTFO cosmos, and this is why. You see, Cosmos Labs is in charge. They have made it that way. Cosmos is no longer a decentralized ecosystem and as much as I did have critical things to say about the so-called team of teams that was running things before I actually have to say to my great shock, that things have gotten substantially worse (honestly I didn't think that was possible and that's why I supported initially Cosmos Labs of course everything they told me under NDA turned out to be false, they didn't do any of that stuff they said they would) (they released me from the NBA so that I could tell people what they told me under NDA and unfortunately all of that stuff turned out to be false so I was kind of used as a tool and I'm really sorry about that)

Lastly, we should talk about @osmosis. I'm the first person in the world to realize that their offer was not cheap. But guys that's the thing quality isn't cheap quality you do have to pay for it.

Cosmos had the opportunity to bring on the team that solved dragonberry, which could have destroyed everything in IBC, at a fairly reasonable price, while decentralizing away from Cosmos Labs which in retrospect looks like an incredible idea.

I hope, I truly hope that this tweet goes viral, and that people understand that what happened to

Was absolutely not the fault of the chains in question. This was a case of someone upstream shitting in the river and the poor bastards downstream getting cholera or typhoid or one of those illnesses you can get when somebody upstream shits in the river.

@KiiChainio mentioned that this was trivial to avoid and they were absolutely correct.

@MANTRA_Chain was probably trying to make sure that other chains did not suffer the same thing, and did not describe the cause of the issue.

I don't know anything about @TacBuild but I sincerely wish them all the best just like I wish mantra and kii all the best.

Now as for Cosmos labs, the degree of irresponsibility here is unimaginable! The notion that they Steward Cosmos is an absolute joke.

What's the problem? Well I'm pretty sure they're not removable at this point you see they are owned by @interchain_io.

Now I just have a little challenge for these guy: Mag, Barry, please tell me how in the flying fuck is this going to improve Cosmos Enterprise adoption?

So if you ever wondered why everybody and I mean everybody is running away from Cosmos as fast as they can this (and many other things) is why: there is absolutely zero trust left.

I myself reported a very serious issue over the course of about 2 years and was ignored the entire time. It could stop any Cosmos chain they said it didn't matter. I'm so at some point I just stopped giving a shit and stopped doing Cosmos.
