One of the ripe opportunities for the youth is in #AgroecologicalEntrepreneurship. While giving her keynote speech, renowned Agroecological entrepreneur @kuria_sylvia shared insights into her 15-year-old journey which she started as a youth working with local communities and women to enable them to grow food sustainably.

This has been since scaled up from subsistence to profit. She also pointed out a number of reasons why young people are not very much interested in agriculture and these include middle men controlled markets and limited access to land among others.

She implored the youth present to be change makers using tools available to them like the internet to learn, share, and scale up different agroecological practices while sharing success stories.
