Hon. @GeorgeMusisi4 has raised concerns over the plight of property owners who have been waiting for compensation to pave the way for construction of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).

Hundreds of residents in Namataba Village, Kirinya Parish, Bweyogerere Division, were stopped from developing their properties about nine years ago because of the project. Nearly a decade later, they are yet to receive compensation.

He says the compensation process has stalled and is calling for fresh valuations to reflect the appreciation in property values over the years.
