To whom it may concern: if you have someone in your life who is #disabled or chronically ill and they tell you they can't do something, believe them. If someone with a dynamic disability tells you they can only do something during a short window of the afternoon, believe them.

Before #covid and #longcovid I was a runner. Lots of friends today running #greatsouthrun in perfect conditions. Today I really miss the running community and event. Today I feel so sad.

@dunlin57 My daughter’s secondary school are now offering free porridge in the mornings and have extended the library open time in the evening as many parents are struggling to support children with h/w and pay for electric devices being used.

I can’t help but feel shocked at how many #nurse colleagues with #longcovid are being dismissed under capabilities policy, many not offered achievable phased return. Such a waste of experience, so dehumanising.
