I am Ameer from Gaza, and I live with #Celiacdisease (gluten intolerance). 💔
Since my diagnosis, my life has become a daily struggle. The options for safe food here are almost nonexistent. Finding gluten-free products is extremely difficult and expensive, and I often feel like I have no choices.
My biggest dream is not something extraordinary… I just want to travel one day, live a normal life, walk into a restaurant without fear, choose from many foods, and feel like everyone else.
I am asking for your support to help me get through this difficult time and move closer to a safer, healthier life. Every share or donation can make a real difference. ❤️
Thank you for standing with me. 🙏

I appreciate the transparency on the gofundme. Although Nothabo was wealthy, the family do not have access to that money. If you can, place some money in the pot.
#ForTinu I am trying to do a better job of regular threads for support for struggling folks.
If you're struggling, feel free to leave your links below.
If you can, please help or give a good nudge forward.
People are hungry, cold, in debt, fleeing genocide & more.
And I don't just mean internally. Get into the history of eugenics, the construction of intelligence and mental illness. Look into who was thought to have good or bad brains and who has been humanized or dehumanized bc of that.
I was extremely proud to contribute and put my name to this letter from @rainbow_aim calling for the reversal of the ban on puberty blockers for trans youth, which AIM CEO Emma handed to Health Secretary Wes Streeting today. This is an issue the autistic community must rally on.
While we're talking about health insurance, Tinu would be talking about how insurance denied her lifesaving care.
She's dead because of it, though, so we need to talk for her now.
“Why not focus on fixing the foundations first, like the NHS in crisis, to support us to live before you allow us to die?” - Disability Rights UK on why it’s changed its view on assisted dying - and is leading a coalition against legalising it 🎧 https://t.co/fEe4U2Ecqo
it's never a bad time to repost this excerpt from @/thellpsx's care work, but it feels especially necessary right now with all the recent shaming of disabled anger on the tl
the CORE group (Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, & the US) just announced they are going to rewrite the haitian constitution themselves to allow foreign corps to steal haitian land, steal haitian resources, and expand their abuse on haitians.
Not being able to walk is being removed as a qualifying criteria for being disabled; 20% of businesses are not step free, nor is most public transport. Accessible housing waiting lists take more than 5 years, so you can't move around to find work either. https://t.co/vFW2G5YGGH
Im still working hard to make it to @Tinu's funeral in Maryland next month. I don't have much time left to crowdfund.
Please help me reach my goal so I can travel safely and avoid catching covid
You can support assisted dying in principle and still acknowledge that disabled people's fears are valid and justified, or that we need better palliative care first, or any number of things
Two things can be true at once
