@2Smokey2Lit @vidsthatgohard Medicare/Medicaid pays a set approved amount. It doesn’t matter what they charge. The patient chooses whether they want a provider who accepts assignment on Medicare. Medicaid bars the patient being billed directly.

@atrupar There is such a disconnect between these politicians and the American people. I propose each elected official and their advisors be required to live for a month with a family who needs Medicaid.

@averageamguy @4HumanUnity My mother died at 54 after being diagnosed at Mayo Clinic with ALS/Pick’s Complex. Despite being terminal, she had to sue to get SS disability and only collected about 6 months prior to passing away, after working 55-60 hours a week for years. Make it more difficult? Ridiculous!
