Was on the West Hempstead train from Atlantic, 6 cars instead of 8, packed, and transferred in Jamaica to the Long Beach train , again 8 cars instead of 10; during rush hour and a hot day like today, standing al the way home. Why does the LIRR keep doing this? #LIRR

@TheLIRRToday @LIRR still no improvement for commuters to and from Atlantic Terminal. It’s a mad dash in the morning to catch your train and same in evenings. Why can’t we have more direct trains to and from Long Island to AT?All this money we pay and service is still horrible!

@TheLIRRToday @LIRR this am limited service to AT, no idea announcement not made on train, got off track 2, AT train track 3 leaving. When get upstairs to take the 7:44 am to AT it was cancelled, why couldn’t you hold AT train for two minutes? No consideration for AT commuters!!

@LIRR so once again we miss the 4:52 train to Long Beach because we were delayed at Atlantic Terminal. We arrived at the same time to Jamaica, but I had to go up stairs and down to cross over by that time doors were closed. Now I have to wait until 5:18 for the next train😡😠

Long Beach train cancelled. Asked one of the LIRR workers on platform to confirm and all they said was I think so and went ahead to answer their cell phone and have a conversation… seriously @LIRR paying more money and your service is worse than ever!!

This new LIRR schedule is still horrible. We need more direct trains to and from Atlantic!! @LIRR paying more money for horrible service.

@LIRR can you please explain to me why Atlantic terminal trains are always running late coming to Jamaica, I just missed my Long Beach train connection and now have to wait almost 30 minutes for next train.This schedule is horrible and fares are going up? You need to do better🤬

@LIRR your schedule months later is still a nightmare! No direct trains to and from Bklyn, late trains and missed connections. People still lost and confused, running from one track to another to catch their train, hoping they don’t miss it. Go back to old schedule!

@LIRR train from Mineola to LIC was packed this morning, get to Jamaica and start running from track 2 to catch the Atlantic terminal train on track 12 along with other commuters-please go back to old schedule !! This is terrible!

Commuters. Running from
Track 1 to track 12 every morning along with other commuters and return trip same. People running to catch connecting trains it’s terrible!

@LIRR listen to commuters and change this crazy schedule!! Add more direct trains from Long Island to Brooklyn. This schedule is not fair for those that commute to and from Bklyn!!

@LIRR we need direct trains to and from Brooklyn. When arriving in Jamaica to transfer to Atlantic train or coming back from Atlantic, many commuters are running on the platform and going ups the stairs not to miss connecting trains. It’s insane and accident waiting to happen.
