Portland’s Police Chief spent years working for a group that wanted to “reimagine” policing.

After retiring as Deputy Chief, Bob Day became Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Red Door Project.

That’s the arts nonprofit that puts on plays and workshops about Black experiences with police and pushes racial justice dialogues.

Their whole model is built around changing how cops think and operate.

Not more enforcement.

Not better clearance rates.

“New thinking.” “Healing.” “Curiosity.”

Then the city brought him back as Chief, not by coincidence-by design.

Same guy who spent his time out of the bureau helping an organization that treats traditional policing as the problem now runs the Portland Police Bureau.

I just received this information from another individual:

“Previously, the State Board of Forestry held appointment authority under prior law. They announced job search for new head with updated qualifications.

Then Tina got hold of it. She “requested “ and got the puppet Oregon legislature to do her bidding. Surprise not really, Tina is a control freak.

We ended up with Senate Bill 1051 (2025). Sponsored at the request of Governor Tina Kotek, it amended ORS 526.031 to transfer appointment authority to the Governor. All Tina control. Hired her Jan 22,2026.

My problem is her experience. All in Nevada, not a lot of Forest there.. It does appear to be a DEI hire. Emphasizing KC is “first (permanent) female to lead agency”

My take is that Tina did hire a DEI woman WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE TO HEAD THE FOREST SERVICE PROGRAM!

This is even worse news than I expected!

She’s in a care facility… and her vote is still counting.

Senator John N. Kennedy just called out the fact that Maxine Waters is currently in an Alzheimer’s facility in San Recto, California — yet her House votes keep being recorded.

“How is she still voting when she doesn’t remember her own name?” Kennedy asked. “They’re subverting the rule of law to pad the vote.”

Kennedy has already moved to strike every House measure that passed with her vote over the past four months and is demanding those votes be held again once a legitimate replacement is seated.

The same party that lectures America about democracy is literally counting votes from a woman who no longer knows who she is.
