@itsmelsec@mov_axbx You will likely need a 2U DL380, also because DL360P doesn’t have provisions to provide external GPU power, so PCIe power is limited to <70W (meaning T4/RTX A2000 Single Slot etc).
Now THATS what we call the Ultimate RF Signal Generator😀
Huge #PCB with 16 phase coherent Tx. 40 GSPS each. Fully loaded with RAM & FPGAs for massive IQ streaming via 8 x 100G Ethernet & 8 x USB4.

@will_whang That must be the case, everywhere there is fittings or a pipe terminated into a distribution block, there is one of these sensors. Pretty cool IMO, I wonder if they can isolate the coolant supply to a single blade on detection, or if they have to shut the whole rack down?
I once had a $30,000 fully populated FPGA board that I could NOT find the dead short on
I asked the 65 year old Eng Fellow what to do
Without saying a thing, he took the box with the board in it and we traipsed across Intel's campus
Over pedestrian bridges and through parking garages
Up and down stairways
Until we got to a room of dusty equipment
In the corner was a power supply the size of a filing cabinet with two big terminals and two dials and one switch
Guy hooks up the supply to the 3.3V rail
Dials the power supply to 0.11V and 1000A, throws switch
POW
the corner of the board blows off. Tilted pressfit screw insert.
Turns the power off
Dials it to 3.3V, 10A
Board boots perfectly and worked flawlessly for the next year of prototyping
@lucasteske@will_whang Yep, it’s all memory. Only silver lining is it’s not soldered, it’s all on SoCAMM2 modules. Hopefully one day we might be able to buy 2nd hand and use (cope)
@JoshKale Is he going to buy EUV machines from ASML?
Is he likely worried about lead times for machines (at ASML)?
Blackwell is TSMC N4P, Rubin is supposed to be TSMC N3 with a 5x efficiency uplift, so Tesla 2N process will be about the equivalent of TSMC N3 but cheaper?
Hope he does it!
We’re the first cloud to bring up an NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 system for validation, another big step in building the next generation of AI infrastructure with NVIDIA.
Nvidia ISSCC presentation is massivly bullish $LITE.
Their eye has basically no margin with a labratory-grade Santec tuneable laser.
These lasers have 0.2 MHz linewidth and -145 dBc/Hz RIN.
Lumentum is only high power laser vendor who can even get close to these noise specs.
Oh nice, I'm trying to get some sleep and then the NRO releases declassified images of the JUMPSEAT SIGINT satellite...

Validation testing on a Raptor 3 performing a Starship V3 ascent burn. Multiple versions of this test will cover the different conditions seen by Starship’s three inner engines during its initial climb to space
@nathans_codes_2@Flight2Starship It’s Pillars of the old gods by Jonathan Paulsen & Locked, the section of the music featured in the video is from 2 minutes onwards. Enjoy!

@MattHartensveld This is seriously cool! What are you using for lights? Are they just amber/yellow ceiling lights or are they special specific wavelength lights, or are they just white lights with filters?
