Dr. @NWvanderhoeven: In the acute setting of #STEMI, nonculprit coronary flow reserve was reduced and FFR was augmented, whereas instantaneous wave-free ratio was not altered. https://t.co/mlatDFYUpR
@venkmurthy Thank you for the interest in the paper @venkmurthy. To my opinion these data suggest to be careful with NC physiology measurements in patients with large infarcts and values around the cut-off. Perhaps a staged procedure in a more stable setting or a hybrid approach!
So proud of my colleague Jorrit Lemkes regarding his LBCT presentatie at ACC. Results of the COACT trial show a similar survival in immediate versus delayed angiography in post cardiac arrest patients! @NielsRoyen@amsterdamumc@ACCinTouch @MartyMleon @CMichaelGibson
Just arrived in New Orleans to attend the ACC conference. Looking forward to hear the results of the largest new trials, and explore this great city!! @ACCinTouch
Very proud of our group! We will present the results of the COACT trial as LBCT at the ACC '19, which will shed light on the optimal treatment of cardiac arrest patients without ST-elevation (immediate vs. late coronary angiography). @keaglemd@ACCinTouch@ACCmediacenter
Great study in an unique dataset of patients with stable CAD who received PET imaging in our center. Results demonstrated that ''FFR, iFR, and Pd/Pa showed a similar performance when compared with PET imaging.''

Another recently published great trial by van Leeuwen et al. compared the effect of ticagrelor and prasugrel maintenance therapy on reducing microvascular injury in STEMI patients. Very comprehensive and well executed study!

Great trial by Lemkes et al. recently published in EHJ.
They observed a similar small infarct size and MACE rate in transient STEMI patients treated with immediate versus delayed revascularization. @escardio@ESC_Journals@TomLuscher

“In STEMI, non-culprit hyperemic coronary hemodynamics
alter from index event to 1 month follow up as demonstrated
by an increased CFR, decreased resistance and decreased FFR.”
