@NoThirdMan The danger of these posts is taking away from the current pathway(predominantly independent school) to give to the non pathways (state). The #ICEC report tells it as it is, but the #ECB need to fund a whole new pathway or one that doesn't positively discriminate. That's not good
@JPR_25 Is it because "all players are different" or " they get bored of the same drills" or " coaches need to be more imaginative" or " it has to be fun"
@NoThirdMan@StoneDunk That is a fair point, however, I've been in club, school and CAG for 19 years, l can categorically tell you that all environments matter, equally, the player decides which is more important to them, my own have lived this experience and we have discussed it at length.
@StoneDunk@NoThirdMan I hear you, they own the game, always have, it belongs to them. The independent school success in producing players isn't all bias, it has a great deal of merit, state schools didn't stand a chance so fallacy or not, the discussion isn't happening for no reason.
@DONCRICKET@BCCI@ICC Agree with many concerns around the ICC, not just now but for many years, but of the pitch was that bad how did India take 10 wickets?
@CricketZimbo So much work goes into learning how to hit boundaries consistently, still a huge amount of batting in it, esp to do it 360°. T20 is brilliant and the flat pitches give both sides a chance to do it, Bumrah showed the rest how to go about bowling on these tracks. NZ were poor.
