Got around to running my analysis against the fourth Bevy Jam, highlighting commonly-used Bevy and gamedev crates as well as formats used.

(Look at the site index for the other Bevy Jams and most of the Rusty Jams too.)

@DGrif_in Oh, this is fun. There's an empty `a` tag in the entry page pointing to your LudumDare52 entry, Harvest. That's where the data is coming from, since it's the first URL on the page. Will take a few minutes to update the blog post with the right repo.
@kmf Hey! Wasn’t directly impacted, although obviously there’s a lot to process in situations like this. Definitely easier for me than others - not least because at my very first job, they had layoffs in my first week, and they had a few rounds of that.
I had two options - fix the normals and make sure the meshes join together without seams, or build the "endless terrain" part and see how well the asynchronous task pool in Bevy does. Guess it's obvious which one I chose...

I had fun writing some Rust code to compile data on the first Bevy Jam, a game jam for games built with Bevy, a Rust game engine. And then discovering more about the various crates people used, as part of learning the landscape.

I wonder whether they track the number of times people press the "Submit" button on that form to see how many times people are hit by the 280 character limit.
Have already hit it 20+ times trying to edit it down while retaining all useful information.
Twitter's support form: "Please include as many details as possible about what’s happening.".
Also: "DescriptionText must be at most 280 characters".
Which gets one thinking about the backend storage...
(Helpfully, no character count, just remove until you can submit...)
To answer all the questions, yes, it’s true, Babylon 5 is in active development as a series for the CW. We have some serious fans over at the network, and they’re eager to see this show happen. I’m hip deep into writing the pilot now, and will be running the series upon pickup.
@BartWronsk Thanks for the reminder to check how it went for my (~IC8) colleague who protested this performance season by composing and posting an original (not-work-related) poem…
@FreyaHolmer To be fair, it _would_ be nice if the five or more different meanings mapped to the single keyword “static” depending on context had separate names. I might not, personally, choose “statuc” for “internal linkage”, but at least I could search on it (in codebase, or online)...
