No point in having any of these systems if they still require a human being to press cancel. All this hassle just to replace a passport - they can find us for taxes but can’t give us replacement passports???

@amylouboo22 @HM_Passport If you withdraw best bet is to go to the office which you sent the application to. If they’ve not acknowledged receipt of the old passport, report it lost and take the paper form plus 2 passport pics & the withdrawal letter as well. I did that & took 8 days

I think anyone renewing should just go fastrack, like the nhs it’ll take them an age to clear backlog applications

I think we’re now all in a luck of the draw situation with hmpo, nothing is guaranteed anymore
