After coming back from an injury of six months and being officially cleared for a month. At the Southern Carolina Conference Championship I got first in the 500 with time of 1:21.35 and started the 4x400 and we ended up in first!
@cuttytrack
I am extremely excited and blessed to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Lenoir-Rhyne University! GO BEARS! 🐻

A decade ago, Cuthbertson had no girls indoor track and field championships.
Now, they have the second-most in N.C. High School Athletic Association history.
Cuthbertson won the 7A championship on Wednesday, holding off cross-county rival Marvin Ridge 83-77. They reached the podium in seven of 15 events, winning one relay and two individual events.
The Cavaliers now have eight championships, only behind Cummings' 13 titles.
The MVP of the meet went to Chapel Hill's Aleah Weight, who won the long jump and triple jump and finished top-four in two other events.
@cuttytrack
There was one other double-winners on the day: Clayton's Londyn Atkinson won the 55 and 300. Clayton also won two relays.
Cuthbertson's Leila Boix and Marvin Ridge's Farrah Anderson were named NCHSAA sportsmanship winners, given to one athlete from both the state champion and runner-up team.
After over a year @cuttytrack finally returned to the top of the mountain by winning the 7A Indoor State Championship! Amazing performance for both the boys and girls teams!
Last weekend @cuttytrack traveled down to VA beach to compete in the annual @VAShowcase ! A strong showing from the Cavs as they look to finish Indoor season strong.
This weekend at the Liberty Flames High School Invitational 2026, I got a 1:19.74 in the girls 500 meter finals. This is Cuthbertson’s 5th fastest 500 on an indoor track for the girls.

A week before the first game of my senior year I sustained a knee injury that will cause me to miss my senior season. Even though my senior year was taken from me I believe God makes no mistakes. I had a successful surgery earlier this month. I am dedicated to attacking this rehab with everything I have and coming back stronger than ever!
I sincerely appreciate everyone who has supported me during this difficult time.
I look forward to the next chapter in my academic and football career! This is just the beginning of my journey.

@nyaburrell_ is one of the fiercest competitors I’ve been around. This young lady shows up and competes every time she steps on the track. She has run everything from the 55 to the 800 and has done whatever the team has needed of her to be successful. She is always willing to sacrifice to make sure the team has a chance to do its job. As a captain this year the team will go as far as she leads it. Coaches reach out if you need a hard working, dedicated leader on your team!! 100: 12.7
200: 25.75
400: 59.49
500: 1:19.2 GPA:4.2
Thank you @DukeTFXC for an amazing experience at track camp! I would also like to thank @HokieSprints for giving me advice for this upcoming season and working with me everyday!
@cuttytrack
Cuthbertson Track never ceases to amaze me. Year after year these kids, their parents, and this staff go ALL IN! We pour our full heart and soul into each and everyday as we try to #wintheday. We don’t always come out on top and reach the hefty goals that we have for ourselves every year, but at the end of the day we are CHAMPIONS because we show up and compete to our fullest everytime we step on the track. To know the battles this team has overcome all year is to know how amazing every member of the team is and what they accomplished was something amazing. Ranked outside the top 10 in pre season polls, coaches calling us a dead program after what we graduated, losing some of our best athletes to injury throughout the year, and so much more. These kids persevered through it all and I am grateful for all of them. Here are some highlights of the season and a highlight video from outdoor states
-3 state runner ups
-4 conference titles
-2 regional titles
-2 county championships
-2 city championships
- state record 4x200
-3 individual state champions
-29 school records
-4 freshman state records
-1 freshman national champion
- multiple all Americans
-memories that will last a lifetime
@cuttytrack was able to defend their SCC conference crown this past week, once again doubling up in both indoor and outdoor this season! Up next, they will host regionals this Saturday!
