Today I managed to get 4 client's cdsc statements that indicate their brokers, shares invested in and amount of shares.. all the 4 clients are currently in the US.

So many people bought Safaricom shares during the 2008 ipo and forgot about them.. last week, I helped a client track 8500 Safaricom shares which are now worth sh 289,000.. interestingly, he had bought the shares at only sh 42,500

Today, the photo attached indicates 2,200 Safaricom shares worth sh 74,800. Others had Safaricom plus other companies' stocks.

If you opened a cds account long time ago and you can't remember your broker or how many shares you own, you can trace your account.

Also, if your parents or siblings or grandparents invested in shares and they passed away, you can claim those shares. You can even claim unpaid Dividends.
