@sebkrier The problem is that concentration of power and its ability to pay for as much labor as needed means it can produce and advance coordinated, centrally planned, fully informed campaigns to align the world with their desires. Diffuse, uncoordinated, reactive response cannot compare.
@cremieuxrecueil It's definitely not 0% because real people's writing styles are also influenced by AI as they interact with and read text produced by it.
@DavidD29570291@privatebirb Then congratulations, it means you're not capable of comprehending executive dysfunction, but I'm sure you're trying harder than I am.
@EedenEnne@windriderz49 You shouldn't feel guilty for not wanting to be with someone who can't handle themselves. But you should definitely not have "low empathy" or justify your loss of attraction as if it were morally imperative somehow, that's lowkey gross.
@robertskmiles Honestly, probably Claude because I'm used to doctors who are extremely clueless about what they're doing unless it's a very typical presentation of one of the most common health problems in their specialty and more likely to gaslight you than put in effort.
@M5PAVS@_imey@TheBlackHorse65 How do you even form worldviews this unhinged when they're so easily falsifiable? If you believe all news is fake, how do you "know" any of this? Do you just make it up? Listen to people who made it up? How do you become so divorced from reality?
@JesusFerna7026 > I am still trying to process these numbers. This is the defining issue of our time.
No. This is the consequence of the most defining issues of our time, plural. It's not something you can address directly, either we improve the world or we can forget about birthrates.
@Zublai@Aella_Girl The problem with Stella is that she tries hard to write thoughtful stuff but the moment Twitter was taken over by Musk and culture changed, she basically gave up on pretending to have any principles.
@sebkrier@michhuan@guynamedjoshl Why not? Most of the present-day problems are sociopolitical, by this point. The world is overwhelmingly more than rich enough to provide food, water, housing, and transportation for every human alive. There is zero urgent need to advance faster, and AI isn't even beneficial rn.
@sebkrier All of the overregulation you bring up exists not due to conservatism, but due to corporate lobbying to create barriers to entry for potential competition. It is not analogous to the need to regulate AI because the potentially catastrophic consequences for our entire civilization
@TylerAlterman Dude, every single technology we develop is used to squeeze people harder. There is not going to be "post-scarcity", especially nor if we don't stop all of the erosion of privacy, democracy, etc.
@NTFabiano Honestly over half of the right side is basically executive dysfunction and fatigue/malaise. The left side seems like stuff that strongly correlates with having high energy and just being well overall.
@nimabuyin @NTFabiano As someone who actually researched a shitton of actual science on this... there is very very little, if any, cumulative benefit beyond having the minimal male levels in terms of mental and cognitive health.
@_Pa0la___ How does that even happen in a world where my baseline is most similar to other people being simultaneously sick, hungover, and sleep deprived :/
@p0lar_fawn A 50:50 mix of intranasal corticosteroids and decongestant((o)xylometazoline) used in one nostril per night gives you most of the decongestant benefit with no real rebound or tolerance, as well. Also, get a sleep study, from a lab that's aware of UARS, not just sleep apnea.
@XxDogsaysMeowxX @retro_twt Was it just this one scene or is there more like it? I remember Onizuka being kinda weird and unhinged but a good person in the end, from my watch 10+ years ago.
@heyyoudvd@agraybee@Anthony__Koch I think my favourite part was when the white walkers massacred every single background character and not a single named one died, in a series defined by "anyone can die at any time". Sam wriggling on a pile of corpses as the undead just ignore him was the cherry on top.
