Students in our Physics course created and trialed their hot air balloons for the Hot Air Balloon Exhibition project that is run as a culmination of the Q3 unit on Thermodynamics.

Recently our seniors presented their senior projects at the Downtown Community Television Center. iSchool seniors had been working hard on their research and projects for eight months culminating in an Interactive Fair and Senior Symposium and Film Festival!

The Columbia University Neuroscience Outreach team visited our Human Microbiome module recently. They brought their “brain bank” which included real human brains!
The Con Law module recently visited the Thurgood Marshall Federal Court. Sudents sat in on oral arguments related to a Bernie Madoff case, then got to listen to/talk with a US District Court judge and a federal prosecutor, & we got to join in a mock trial in a real courtroom.
iSchool students recently decorated 150 festive Thanksgiving Bags to accompany meals that are prepared and distributed to homebound New Yorkers by God's Love We Deliver.
NYC iSchool students recently attended EMIPREMUNCX this past weekend. Run by NYU students, this conference had middle and high school students from all over the country in attendance!
Seniors attended a screening and panel discussion of “Below Surface”, a documentary on the importance of community building and healthy longevity. Our seniors had the opportunity to mingle with the panelists and share stories of their own senior projects and research!
