To celebrate the first day of pool season, NYC’s Mayor surprised kids by jumping into the pool wearing a full suit! 👔🌊@NYCMayor

Starting today, all 53 NYC outdoor public pools are officially open for the summer across the five boroughs.

🏊 FREE admission
🕚 Open daily from 11 AM–7 PM
🧼 Pools close from 3–4 PM each day for cleaning.

A few things to know before you go:
💧 Entry is first come, first served.
🔒 Lockers are free, but you’ll need to bring your own lock.
👙 Swimsuits are required in the pool area.
📱 Phones and other electronics aren’t allowed on the pool deck.
🥤 No food, glass bottles, or floaties are permitted.
