@ChadOhman@BrianJeanAB@ABDanielleSmith We're robbed in Calgary like that too and isn't distribution and transmission kind of the same thing? BC's single option electricity doesn't sound so bad now huh?
@ericmigi@onbeeper I'm swinging for you guys. Had to cancel my subscription though because Google was going to charge me today and I really want the stability in the app. Also, would love to have the ability to import every message not just the most recent blue bubbles has been fantastic so far
@ericmigi@onbeeper Most excellent news that the gov going to get involved in apples antitrust move to block you.
One thing I would really like if everything works out for beeper mini is that all messages are imported. I just moved to Blue Bubbles because of the stability issues
it imports all
@onbeeper@SamtimeNews Sadly, I've been having so many instability issues with both beepers I've removed iMessage from both. I'm using blue bubbles now and so far 100% success and stability Not to mention it imports every message. Love what you guys do though. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do
@onbeeper Reinstalled and it didn't import anything and when I try to add like my wife or anyone else I know who has an iPhone says can they can't be reached by iMessage
@onbeeper Just noticed all my outgoing messages were working but responses to my number or my email address don't come into my phone at all. I've uninstalled the app. Reinstalling it now
@onbeeper I appreciate it too. I really hope I can use my phone number. Really confuses my family when they see a message from me from my email address instead of my number and then they end up SMSing me through my phone number all the time
@TexasVC Just curious where you got this February date from when the official announcement said by the end of next year which would coincide with probably September 2024 with the launch of the next iOS
@TexasVC I know because their apps are baked into the OS. They can't just add RCS without a full-blown OS upgrade, which they could still do fairly easily with an incremental upgrade with the current version, but obviously they're having business meetings to figure out how they'll impleme
@denipi_m@onbeeper RCS has a much higher throughput and it stands for rich communication service and allows for larger file sizes to be transferred which allows better quality video and photos
@denipi_m@onbeeper Sorry my bad of course. SMS is simple messaging system, It allows for text only and MMS is multimedia messaging system which allows for low bandwidth photos and pictures up to approximately three megabytes if my time in the cellular industry reminds me
@denipi_m@onbeeper Yes, high resolution photos and video get heavily compressed with SMS to the point. They're almost non-viewable on a device that receives it as SMS. It's usually the worst when iPhone users record a bunch of video and send it to an Android user using messages, it's in SMS
