Why Season 0.5, not Season 1?
- we don't rush. larger audience means bigger infra and more attack vectors. we'd rather graduate the hypothesis slowly, learning from each submission
- if 0.5 delivers, Season 1 ships with more benefits for scouts, bigger reward pool and a fully gamified permissionless structure: tiers, boosts, penalties, reputation scoring, all tied to performance and token holdings

How it Works?
1. scout tags @fair_vc on his own alpha post or under someone else's
2. the judgement agent evaluates his read.
three contribution types: knowledge base entry, signal, trade
3. the better the thesis, the higher the chance it becomes a signal or trade
4. at the end of each season, scouts share the reward pool by leaderboard position
5. profits sourced from signals/trades contributed by scouts, lead to $Fair buyback, which goes directly to the reward pool

Why Fair is Hiring?
- sourcing is 90% of vc returns, and at a fresh launch, where the data hasn't formed yet, human instinct beats agents
- scouts are Fair operating on that thesis, onchain
- to enable the broader community to align with Fair
- be as early as best onchain hunters, but autonomous
