OnlyFans did not get hacked. The timeline just fell for another engagement trap.

Over the last 24 hours, viral accounts have been farming millions of views claiming a "mega leak" is selling a database of 340 million OnlyFans users.

It is 100% fake news. But the way they manufactured this hoax is a masterclass in clickbait.

If you look at the "database" screenshot being shared, a simple technical audit exposes the receipts:

First, the schema is a direct frontend API scrape. Fields like "streams_count", "likes_count", and "user_type" are not backend database columns. They are the exact API tags OnlyFans returns to load public profile pages.

Second, the "340 million" number was stolen from a marketing company database. Hackers simply copied an old, public list from an influencer outreach firm (Influencers. club) and relabeled it as an OnlyFans server breach.

Third, and most dangerous, is the real trap. The hackers spreading these fake leaks are trying to panic you into downloading "leak checkers." The second you run those tools, they install infostealer malware (like Lumma Stealer) to steal your actual passwords.

OnlyFans didn't lose your data. But if you keep falling for these fear-bait posts and download shady checkers, you will lose it yourself.
