Conference alert! This CFP, closing 15th May 2024, may be of interest to anyone working with creating, curating, preserving and theorising born-digital collections. I am part of the programme committee so I look forward to reading everyone's submissions. https://t.co/YwitbLxqJi
Wrote some things about being a researcher at the @V_and_A with my amazing colleagues @nyusha_ml and @annaktalley. Read our first post here: https://t.co/erWjB6Peiv
I did a thing (16 things, to be precise), with @Chris_J_King , @LucyBayley , @sarahecook and @PipLaurenson. It was a real labour of love, with lots of help from the lovely Tate Research editors, and the generosity of the artists involved. https://t.co/N8uDTyWzde
The peer-reviewed newspaper publication that we worked on last week during the ‘Toward a Minor Tech’ workshop has been published <3 Official presentation at @transmediale

@CHLThor @kieranjol The FLA file is retrieved by decompiling the SWF and then you can import it to Animate to access/edit separate components comprising the animation including scripts (ActionScript) and graphics
So enjoyed @nyusha_ml#iPres2022 lightning talk that I had to find out more about it. Thoughts from the podcast “why should certain types of art be more priviledged than others?” Her exploration of the nature of timebased media in https://t.co/uF2m918liN is absolutely delightful!
@xxnorguk @conservators@EMG_AIC I’m currently reworking the presentation into a paper for the Electronic Media Review, but I’m not sure when exactly these conference proceedings will be published…maybe autumn?
Today I am in LA presenting some of my research at @conservators@EMG_AIC panel, very grateful for the FAIC/Samuel H. Kress foundation for supporting my participation, and looking forward to hearing everyone’s talks!
Last week I had my first academic article published by Journal of @Conservators_UK. It outlines a migration path for net art that has been affected by Adobe Flash’s end-of-life and reflects on the role of the source code in issues of authenticity, access and re-enactment.
