Refer to this over the twitter thread from now on. The steam community guide is a lot cleaner and organized. Plus, Twitter is getting worser everyday so it’s nice to have the guide preserved elsewhere instead of it getting nuked one day along with this platform.
https://t.co/dyeRqZN2au @nzadnilbad did a nice write-up to teach you how to get better at MH. Hope this tutorial can be more helpful than whatever I did in the base game.
Last year for October I decided to finally sit down and clear Ghosts ‘n Goblins. Now that it’s that time again, I figure why not go even further?
Here’s my no death run of GHOSTS ‘N GOBLINS.

If you are working on a clear, seek to play at least 30 min a day, every day (either full run attempts or practicing sections)
30 min of brain reinforcement >>> 3 hours once per week
@P_AllensProfile Pretty good. Input lag is really good, prob due to Nvidia Reflex, and the gadgets are nice. The consensus seems to be that the slowdown is better than the 360 port, but still a bit less than the PCB. Way better than the latest version of shmupmame at least.
I cleared #The_King_of_Dragons on #Default difficulty using just a single credit! Aka a 1 credit clear! Full run in the replies!
I estimate that this took about 15 - 20 hours. I did only light save state practice and mainly played runs.
#1cc#Arcade
Arcade game comparisons are easily misinterpreted because there's a long history of players credit-feeding them and then dismissing them as simple or "all the same".
Good arcade games don't reveal themselves until you 1cc. Even mentioning "1cc" will put arcade players at ease!
