@Spicxer I think they have a final round of asphalt and restriping to do after the signals and sensors are installed. I'm guessing it will be much more intuitive and clearly marked when they are done next year.
@Spicxer They've redone the median, stormwater collection (trenches and pipes), and added overhead signage so they can leverage the median shoulders as travel lanes during rush hour or other times of congestion. You can read about the project on the MDOT website https://t.co/hiToT0oEmz
Thiru Vignarajah raised almost $700k in public financing money when he ran for mayor. Then he dropped out and endorsed Sheila Dixon. But kept the money.
Two city council bills will close the loophole and require a candidate to return public financing funds
@tweetelissa If you're willing to buy used, and don't need a lot of long range, check out the 2017-2019 eGolfs. I love mine. Only 125 miles of range, but affordable, efficient, and great to drive. No known HV battery issues, but some folks have issues with Heat Pump valves.
@TheAverageEv@LectronEV I guess eventually, there will be NACS charging stations everywhere, not just TSC, but right now it seems like something I don't really need.
@TheAverageEv@LectronEV Just saw your ad with @Lectronev wearing your Os cap, and I thought I'd ask a local EV expert: is there any benefit for 1st gen CCS folks to get an CCS>NACS adapter like this, if our manufacturer doesn't natively support charging at TSCs?
Maggie Smith, the masterful, scene-stealing actor who won an Oscar for “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” in 1969 and gained new fans in the 21st century for her roles in “Downton Abbey” and the Harry Potter films, died Friday. She was 89. https://t.co/oUsTHhteV5
@CelinaSchocken@STATter911@ARLnowDOTcom For what its worth, Virginia state law gives pedestrians the right of way when crossing between sidewalks at intersections, even without crosswalks. § 46.2-924
@DrRockt0pus @bikemorebmore@BmoreCityDOT I feel like sometimes the DOT answer to curb lane or ROW permit needs to be: NO. No you may not close the sidewalk, curb lane, bike lane. You may reapply once the the permit activity on the other ROW for the same block is completed.
