Too many organisations treat "commitment" as a contract, a guarantee, a way to pressure teams and individuals into unrealistic deadlines.
They demand certainty in an uncertain world—turning "commitment" into a weapon instead of a mindset.

💡 Real commitment-based culture is about fostering an environment where:
✅ Teams and individuals feel safe to take ownership and adapt when reality shifts.
✅ Leaders commit to empowering those above, not just extracting output.
✅ Trust, transparency, and continuous learning drive success—not fear-driven compliance.

If your culture weaponizes commitment, you’re not practicing Agile —you’re just doing command and control with sticky notes. That's ideal way to get yourself a huge blocker.

🚨 Let’s set the record straight: Commitment is NOT about guaranteeing delivery on a fixed scope, date, or velocity. It’s about accountability, ownership, and adaptability in the face of complexity.

Yet, I still see leaders who:

❌ Blame for "failing" to deliver, instead of enabling to succeed.
