This was great, a piece beautifully interleaving a personal story with a previously hidden historical one, with excellent commentary about how society deals with trans stories. *And* there are discounted tickets for today's 4:15 performance! Check this out. #FringeTO#theaTO
2 shows left of my @Toronto_Fringe show! Some audience comments:
- “I loved that! I don’t know what you call it but I really enjoyed it.” - dude in his 70s
- “I felt… every feeling? All of them. That was incredible.” - woman whose daughter brought her.

Psst, #WPGfringe… I saw these two fantastic comedies are heading your way: Escape from Winnipeg (performed here as Escape from Toronto) and Rat Academy
Still time to see these at @NativeEarth and @beyondwallsTPM respectively. happy last weekend #FringeTO!
@o_bar@tarragontheatre I definitely think UNMUTE did a lot of things in its runtime that mainstream theatre would be afraid of speaking. It has a young energy to it.
Two fantastic comedies for you #theaTO world: Rat Academy, and Crime After Crime. Non stop laughs!
For a superb serious show: Crosstown at @TarragonTheatre
Tell me your tips, what's a must see this #FringeTO?
"Crosstown" at @Toronto_Fringe has a meticulously crafted script and the acting is extraordinary. It's impressive to me how deeply captivating this show was from start to end.
I can't stress this enough: SEE THIS SHOW.
#FringeTO
@nath_noel@Toronto_Fringe In the past their account did some retweeting of reviews during the festival but it been quiet this year… the vintage hashtag is still seeing use: #FringeTO
Some do #TOFringe, you can also search @Toronto_Fringe to see who's tagged them. That covers most of the reviews!
@joshualdwchong@TorontoStar Thanks for doing these reviews! Mentioned scratching your head about the cardboard set at Stiff & Sons; walking out of the theatre last night my little cluster of the audience talked about how much we liked that 🙃
An intimate look at how life changes with an HIV diagnosis in current era. Beautiful and vulnerable, yet somehow still full of laughs.
If you were considering this show, snag a ticket now: we had a packed house and standing ovation! #FringeTO
Limited tickets available for the remainder of the run of #Poz at the @Toronto_Fringe
Note: ~2 tickets per show will open up for same day availability at midnight on the day of each performance, even if marked as sold out.
@theatretopikos Can you post a list with your show schedule, something for me to reply to with a review? Ideally with strike throughs on your sold out ones, including today's which I was lucky to get one of the last tickets to :)
TIL: some Singapore crosswalks allow senior citizens to swipe their senior citizen card to extend the duration of the green crossing light.
Exceptional piece of inclusive urban infrastructure.
I strongly agree! It's tough to categorize this show (comedy? drama?) but 'art' is the best fitting label. Powerful is what I thought as well, it certainly earned the standing ovation it got today. #FringeTO https://t.co/HISRHnJjMg
Day 2 @Toronto_Fringe My only wait listed performance so far and I made it to ‘One Night Only’ a heavy show so well performed as a young man struggles with suicide. Powerful and gripping ending. It has toured Montreal and Ottawa and now at the Fringe! #theatre
The different dynamics between characters was fantastic, this is worth a watch. I wouldn't be surprised if this had a life beyond #FringeTO, maybe with a longer runtime as there is a lot to say in the show!
@JacobKlick I didn't see an early show but saw it just now and it was very good. Make a new tweet with a picture and the rest of your showtimes for me to quote :D
Haven’t seen all yet, but believe this is by far the best year for new musicals in #FringeTO history. Dancer, Choir & Man with the Golden Heart are fantastic. Really enjoyed An Incomplete List, Killing Time, Our Little Secret, Amor De Cosmos & Caezus.

Creatively written and impressively performed, even if rap isn't your thing it's worth seeing CAEZUS, a #FringeTO Julius Caesar retelling. Still 3 more shows. Sit at front or maybe balcony so you can see subtitles under stage https://t.co/kCiCu7ZChL
@Nahanni_@morleyforward3@TorontoRaBIT I'd love to learn more about this as it would look in Toronto, and what can be done to make it happen. Got time to grab a coffee?
@Nahanni_@morleyforward3@TorontoRaBIT As I look at my very long ballot, and think about the debate I watched yesterday, even an imperfect ranked ballot would be a big improvement for me. The city can't even choose how many wards it has, I'm skeptical that multi-member wards are on the table.
