Russia unleashed missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and other cities overnight, killing four people in the capital and 16 people in all across Ukraine, officials said.

A daytime Russian drone hit a UNESCO world heritage site in Lviv, Ukraine, Ukrainian officials say, in largest attack over 24-hour period since the war began.

The Lviv strike set fire to the city’s 17th-century St. Andrew’s Church, which is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said.

Tsybukh, a volunteer medic and activist, was killed on May 29, 2024, near Kharkiv. She was honored for her courage and dedication in defending Ukraine.
