@JosephK61@TiborPNagyJr You are ling, Eritrean rebels freed their country on their own, while your army was enjoying 10s of Billions dollars worth military support.
@TiborPNagyJr Ethiopia doesn't want to talk with its neighbours. Instead, it chooses to appoint warmongering lobists like you and serve as a pupet for the west.
Double standard, Mr. Tibor Nagy?
You preach respect & flexibility to Egypt over the Nile, but go silent when Ethiopia threatens Eritrea’s Red Sea borders. Why the selective outrage? Respect applies across the map—not just where your old alliances lie.

I had the honor of paying a courtesy visit, yesterday, to H.E. Amb. Mohamed Abdalla Idris at the Embassy of Sudan in #Washington#DC. We held in-depth discussions on the current security situation in Sudan, the strong brotherly ties between our two nations, and Eritrea’s principled support for the Sudanese people as they navigate through a difficult path towards a secure & peaceful future.
Ambassador Mohamed Idris expressed his profound appreciation to the people and government of #Eritrea for their steadfast and brotherly stance during the ongoing trying times of #Sudan.
We also exchanged views on #peace and #security in the Horn of Africa and agreed to coordinate our #diplomatic efforts in DC to advance shared interests of our countries and issues of regional stability.

Few thoughts on abstract/hypothetical scenario- analysis: a landlocked country may face an "existential threat" in the most extreme and unlikely case of an aggressive, simultaneous, prolonged, and coordinated naval blockade on it by all transit countries. In the event, misplaced sophistry and hyperbole is thus hollow in substance, dangerous in intent, and antithetical to healthy ties of bilateral and regional cooperaton that must be predicated on established norms and provisions of international law. https://t.co/0DSfF1teWp
During my visit to #Eritrea I had opportunity to discuss global & domestic issues with H.E President Isaias Afwerki. Appreciate his candid insights regarding the emerging world order & the responsibilities of all member states @UN, especially the big powers, in shaping the future
@Adonislo12@EliasAmare@AbiyAhmedAli Stupidity at its best! Eritrea is the only independent nation in Africa, never receive any handout to feed its people or to defend the nation. Foods and tanks are bought cash, while Ethiopia makes begging its national ethos. You are the “worda”disgraceful beggar. #EritreaPrevails
The ethnofascist Orommuma regime of @AbiyAhmedAli is ARROGANT, CORRUPT & INCOMPETENT. #Ethiopia's economy is in total collapse, inflation at over 40% & rising, its Birr in a free fall, depreciated by 25%. The warmongering PM is fighting losing wars in all corners of the country.
Two day meeting of the Governing Council @UNTechBank in Istanbul, Turkiye. It was an informative meeting and hope to tap into its varied and extensive resources for #Eritrea & other #LDCs. Time to get some sightseeing in, before heading home…
Profile Q & A: “…through the Lens of History, you Will see that Eritrea was the Heart of an Amazing and Highly Sophisticated Civilization”; Zeinab Badawi
"...I think the great port of Adulis, which is about 55 kilometres from Massawa, was one of the main port cities in the ancient world. There’s no question of that. And excavations that are taking place now show that a lot of the archaeological finds suggest that it was in operation at least 2,000 years ago. But you know from ancient history and research that I have done that Queen Hatshepsut in ancient Egypt, around 1500 BCE, embarked on trading missions with what was the Land of Punt, and Adulis was very much part of the latter. It comprises Eritrea today and bits of Sudan, Somalia, and Ethiopia, which is what most people think. But there is no question that there was a thriving and flourishing civilization at Adulis, probably with its own king (an Adulite king), very different from the Axumite king, and the Axumites of course used Adulis as their main trading centre..."
"... This time, my conversations with people have revealed a growing desire to protect and promote this rich heritage, which is not only Eritrean heritage but also African and global heritage. Everyone’s history is enriched by Eritrea’s insights, as sites like Massawa offer a unique perspective to the rest of the world. So, this time, there seem to be some plans being put in place to develop the historical and archaeological narrative of the country.”

A great way to end the week, and begin the New Year. #Eritrea participated in the launch of the International Year of Peace and Trust, a @UN initiative to promote peace & dialogue, spearheaded by @Turkmenistan_UN. Trust forms the foundation of cooperation & mutual understanding.
Michael Rubin’s inflammatory rhetoric is crafted to misinform and manipulate the reality seeking to delegitimize Eritrea’s sovereignty while promoting destabilizing policies
