BREAKING: New York Times drops bombshell on Elon Musk, reveals that Musk just “threatened” to sue an organization that “studies hate speech and misinformation on social media” in a sinister attempt to hide the rise of hate on Twitter, now rebranded as X.
But it gets WAY worse…
The New York Times reports that Musk threw a fit over 8 separate studies that were published by the organization, the Center for Countering Digital Hate, that exposed how hate speech had rapidly boomed on Twitter after Musk’s takeover — and that Musk’s “Twitter had taken no action against 99 percent of the 100 Twitter Blue accounts the center reported for ‘tweeting hate.’”
Instead of blaming himself for Twitter’s sinking as revenue as advertisers flee Musk’s hate-filled MAGA Twitter, Musk blamed the Center for Countering Digital Hate for the exodus of advertisers.
The Chief Executive of the nonprofit quickly responded to Musk’s threats, declaring that “Elon Musk’s actions represent a brazen attempt to silence honest criticism and independent research.” He added that Mr. Musk is shameless trying to “stem the tide of negative stories and rebuild his relationship with advertisers.”
Very Trumpian of you, @elonmusk…
Please retweet and ❤️ to expose Elon Musk — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor I created that’s growing like wildfire because it’s the exact OPPOSITE of Musk’s MAGA Twitter — and has a 5-star rated app that Musk is trying to bury. He already deleted Tribel’s Twitter account, but it backfired and only made Tribel grow more. Click HERE to join Tribel: https://t.co/0c9FDbB14A

If you’re a senior, you should know: 156 House Republicans signed onto an extreme MAGA budget that would end Medicare as we know it and raise prescription drug costs.
I was proud to see the Protecting Our Democracy Act pass in the House last Congress — and some of its provisions signed into law.
Now we must finish the job.
It’s time to pass the entire package and codify its reforms, so that we can prevent presidential abuses of power by any future occupant of the White House.
“‘This is pathetic,’ Swalwell told McCarthy after the vote to censure Rep. Adam Schiff. ‘You're weak. You're a weak man.’”
Two of the things that I’m most proud of in life:
1) Interning for Congressman @AdamSchiff
2) Helping to elect & working for my Congressman, @ericswalwell
"One woman could barely get words out through her tears. Another ran to the restroom as soon as she was done, wordless, wretched sobs wracking her tiny body. A third threw up on the witness stand."

It is essential that election workers be able to do their jobs without fear of being smeared or injured.
The lies told by Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani about the 2020 election put the lives of election workers at risk. As long as Trump and his enablers persist in these falsehoods, so must we persist in exposing the truth.
The PACT Act is the most significant expansion of benefits and services in over 30 years for veterans exposed to toxic substances.
Eligible veterans or surviving family members can file a claim at any time, but filing before Aug. 10 could provide access to backdated benefits.
Great news from @CityofBerkeley! They’ve gone from being a poster child for bad housing policy — going all the way back to their inventing single-family zoning 100 years ago — to proactively changing their laws & becoming a pro-housing city. Keep it going! https://t.co/Zob8D1mSHm
Silence is complicity, and I will not be silent.
There is critical work ahead to continue the fight for racial justice and equality for all Americans, and we are committed to leading the path forward.
Trump’s and Giuliani’s deliberate lies about the election in Georgia undermined public confidence in the last presidential election, put the lives of dedicated election workers in danger, and incited a violent attack on the Capitol.
The wheels of justice have moved slowly - too slowly - but they are moving forward.
NEW: Lev Parnas just came clean about how the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop were acquired by Russian FSB agents and compromised and manipulated by Russian intelligence. Parnas is asking James Comer to allow him to testify before Congress. https://t.co/t4VEmCq1nC
Today, we celebrate the 75th anniversary of racial integration in the military.
This milestone is a reminder of a fundamental truth: Our military is strongest when it fully reflects the people of America.
Fantastic meeting with California Assemblymember @BuffyWicks to discuss local housing issues and how the federal government can work alongside state and local governments for solutions to our affordable housing crisis.
Here's an awesome story to brighten your day: Last week Oakland's own, Everett Kalin, became the oldest known climber of Yosemite's Half Dome — at 93-years-old! He was joined by his son & granddaughter while climbing the iconic structure. Go Everett! #AD14 https://t.co/alYOA1ljcU
