FAMILIES – This week we will begin the next phase of our Learning and Caring Plan.
This week we begin phase two of teacher-led learning. You can expect a call or email from your child’s teacher this week where they will check in on your child’s well-being & provide next steps.
Do you want to build a snowman? It’s great building weather here at Oak Ridges and we are creating some new friends to play with...maybe the hat is magic?
Thanks to the generous hearts of our Oak Ridges community for the many donations to this year’s #holidayheroescampaign we have over 20 full boxes of food and hats/mittens to be picked up. Thank you @YRP for helping us to get this into the hands of those in need.
Looks like we’ve got a bunch of little data collectors in the building! Ss created their own Qs/choices, collected primary data & recorded it in a tally chart. Follow up: display in bar graph w/1-1 correspondence & reflect/conclude on data
Our hat and mitten tree has started accepting donations! All donations to the tree are a part of our Holiday Heroes Campaign. Drop off new hat and mittens anytime until December 11th.
Ss are exploring books about countries around the world and identifying unique characteristics which they will then compare those to our community! #socialstudies#grade2#books
Thank you Officer Cadet Jonathon Ferguson today for your heartfelt words and the time you took today that helped us to remember during our Remembrance Day Ceremony. #LestWeForget#yrdsbremembers
