Children are a great asset in empowering fellow peers and villages through music and drama. Oasis Uganda supports local schools to establish and run child rights clubs. We ask you to join hands with us in establishing more rights clubs in schools to reduce cases of violence.

During this lock-down, our teachers have developed and shared lessons via video shared on WhatsApp for the learners to watch while our family mentors have co-opted on National COVID-19 task force to assist distribute relief items and provide psycho social support to families.
Meet Happy, a builder and business owner from Malawi! He was raised by his grandmother after losing his parents at a young age, & joined our Vocational Training Programme after dropping out of school.

At the Oasis Creative Learning Center, we work with children from difficult backgrounds struggling with Morale and Esteem. Art is a usefully tool for cognitive, mental and emotional development of children and is used often in our work with the children. The results are amazing.

Did you know that @oasisinuganda has a football team? The Beersheba Football club has been around for over a decade working to build the character of young men. The senior team also plays in the 4th division of the national league currently 4th and on a 4 match winning streak.👍
Can a village savings group help me as an individual? Nelson saves with Wabed ki gen group. He took a loan of UGX 250,000 (£55) to invest in the cotton business. He now has a wholesale business, buys cotton from farmers and sells to a textile company, and is also now an employer.
The Wanen Anyim Village Savings and Loans group with 30 members meets every Thursday to save, access low interest loans and get more life and business skills. The group has helped members grow their individual and collective incomes through the different services available.
